Grab your laptop, ask politely for the wifi password and settle down for a productive work day in our favorite Nashville spots…
Barista Parlor – East Nashville
There are four different locations of Barista Parlor, but the East Nashville branch is our top pick for working. With a selection of vintage motorbikes in a large open space, a menu of delicious biscuits and donuts, and a music playlist to keep you entertained throughout the day, this spot is well worth a visit.
Fido
The go-to place for the various college students in Nashville, Fido has established itself as a great place to spend some time studying or working. With a great selection of food, coffee and drinks, you will find yourself there for hours without realising it.
Killebrew
Located by the lobby in the Thompson Hotel, this coffee shop is great to stop by if you’re between meetings in the Gulch. If you find yourself people-watching the guests of the hotel, we won’t blame you.
Living Waters
This new East Nashville spot offers a calm environment with a great selection of coffee and snacks. An added plus? Living Waters is also a brewery, so try out one of their home-brewed beers after you’ve had your coffee fix.
Frothy Monkey – The Nations
There are five Nashville locations of this coffee shop (with another one on the way in East Nashville), cementing this brand as one of Music City’s best-known places to head for coffee. It’s hard to choose which one is best for settling down to do some work or study, but The Frothy Monkey in the Nations is bright, airy and our favourite one to stop by for the afternoon.
Pinewood Social
Famous for its bowling alley, Pinewood Social is also a great place to spend a few hours working during the week. Start off with a coffee, stay for lunch and then enjoy a cocktail in the evening, a dream way to spend a day.
