An article from the Nashville Business Journal just recently shined a light on the difference designer Rebecca Donner and her firm has made in hundreds of hospitals.
According to the feature, Donner launched Inner Design Studio, an interior design firm focused on health care, 25 years ago. Seeing a need for a deeper sense of hospitality in health-care environments, Donner took initiative and made it her job to “make hospitals, emergency rooms, senior-living homes and behavioral health facilities feel welcoming.”
Donner and her team of 13 women have completed “more than 870 projects across the country for clients such as HCA Healthcare Inc., Community Health Systems Inc., LifePoint Health and AmSurg Corp.”
“We’re really trying to make it so that you’re comfortable to stay in a hospital with your loved one,” says Donner.
