If you are a brunch-enthusiast like Veronica Williams, you know that the options are endless but not always the healthiest. Here’s a list of perfect brunch spots that have all our health favorites. From smoothie bows to eggs over easy, this list is a compilation of all the best things brunch. Check out these on your upcoming weekend brunch outing.

Sky Blue Cafe
Location: Edgefield, East Nashville
Hours: 7 AM – 3 PM Every day – offering breakfast all-day
Denver omelet, eggs benedicts, and breakfast burritos are just a few of the classics that Sky Blue Cafe keeps on the menu. This all-day breakfast spot is open 7 days a week so you don’t have to say brunch just for the weekend here!

Garden Brunch Cafe  
Location: Jefferson St, East Nashville
Hours: 9 AM – 2 PM Friday through Saturday
Only open on the weekends this place specializes in brunch all weekend long! Their menu is a combination of southern classics like biscuits & gravy, brunch class including their variations of eggs benefits, and some healthy favorites like their veggie bowl perfect for any vegetarian. You can also check out the Garden Brunch Cafe after hours on the third Saturday of every month for the Jefferson Street Art Crawl as they open their doors to the neighborhood and local artists.

Coco Greens
Location: Near Elliston Place, Midtown
Hours: 8 AM – 8 PM Monday through Saturday 12 AM – 6 PM Sunday
The owners of Cafe Coco opened their wellness and vegan café next door to promote a healthy lifestyle and give a space to wellness practices like massage. They have delicious vegan fair throughout the day but their favorite for brunch is their smoothies and cold-pressed juices. Coco Greens is the perfect brunch to start any day of the week, not just the weekends.

Chauhan Ale & Masala House
Location: 12th Ave N., Downtown  
Hours: 11:30 AM – 2 PM Friday through Sunday (brunch hours)
Started by award-winning author and celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan, Chauhan Ale & Masala House is a delicious and modern Indian restaurant that takes a special look at brunch. Maneet puts Indian spins on all the brunch classics. What Came First the Chicken or the Egg? Is an egg dish that features tikka masala, and there are many more that feature curries and classic Indian dishes. Even their “Chicken & Waffles” features mint chutney and mango butter! It’s an experience that you should not pass up.

Proper Bagel
Location: Belmont Blvd
Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM Everyday
Inspired by the best bagel shops in New York, proper bagel brings you the full experience with subway tiles and a spread of delicious bagels. Their menu is full of every breakfast, lunch, and smoked fish bagel sandwich you could ever imagine. Pair your bagel with their garlic mashed sweet potatoes and you have a classic New York breakfast with a Nashville twist.

Graze Nashville
Location: East Nashville
Hours: 9 AM to 2:30 PM Saturday and Sunday (Brunch hours)
Owners of Wild Cow opened Graze almost two years ago and has thrived as a great plant-based spot. They bring their plant-based spin to biscuits & gravy, burritos, rancheros, and some seriously delicious loaded fries. Their dishes feature seitan, tempeh, tofu, and cauliflower in place of many traditional meat products but don’t worry just because they are plant-based they don’t lose out on any of the flavors.

Butcher & Bee
Location: Main St., East Nashville
Hours: 10 AM, 11 AM – 2 PM Friday through Sunday
With a goal in mind to support local farmers and implement sustainable practices, this restaurant from Charleston brought their ideas straight to Nashville. Their collection of small plates and cocktails feature unique ingredients, who knew whipped feta and honey could make the perfect food marriage. Check out Butcher & Bee for a delicious morning of small plates full of fresh ingredients.

The Mockingbird
Location: 12th Ave N., Downtown
Hours: Friday 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday and Sunday 10:30 AM – 1 AM (Sat), 10 PM (Sun)
This art deco diner puts their unique spin on classic diner dines. Their bagged punch is what everyone is after though. Their bright cocktails are served in a bag with a straw, how is that for something new! With some fun names like Kiss my Grits, Flock Yes!, and Oui My Loaf who would not want to try this fun spot!

Café Roze
Location: Porter Rd, East Nashville
Hours: Monday through Sunday 8 AM – 10 PM
The large marble bar and pink tables will make you feel like you just walked into any girls dream! This healthy spot features fresh items like avocado toast, shakes, berry bowls, oats, and even an irresistible Green Goddess salad. This is a great spot to get a group of girlfriends together and pop a bottle of rosé.

Marché Artisan Foods
Location: Five Points, East Nashville
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 3:00pm, Friday & Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Sunday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
This European bakery and restaurant is an East Nashville favorite. The menu is full of delicious European-inspired dishes, and serves a range of seasonal dishes. The brunches at Marché are really popular, but are definitely worth the wait!
